Massage works to lower stress, relax tissue, and relieve tension in the moment — and that relief is real, but it’s often temporary, because the underlying structural pattern causing the tension hasn’t changed. Structural Integration takes a different approach: rather than working on the sore spot in isolation, SI addresses the whole tensional web that’s holding the pattern in place.
I hold 2 hours for each session for a thorough check-in and to stay responsive to what your body needs that day. Actual length depends on how much work and movement education each session calls for.
Cash and checks are preferred. I also accept Venmo and all major credit cards, including FSA and HSA cards. Gratuity is not customary for structural integrators.
I reserve a few sliding scale spots each month for clients experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a barrier to care, please reach out directly — I’d love to find a way to make this work.
I do not submit information to health insurance. Upon request, a receipt or superbill can be provided. If your insurance requires a referral, prescription, and/or a diagnosis from a doctor, please ensure you have this secured before your first scheduled session.
For the purpose of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Structural Integration is generally a covered service as it’s classified as massage.
PIP/MVA claims are accepted.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, 24 hours’ notice is required to allow time to fill the empty session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged as a late cancel/no show and you are liable for the full session fee.
Arriving more than 20 minutes late to your appointment is considered and charged as a late cancel/no-show.
